Nothing is missable, everything saves the instant you grab it, and Chapter Select lets you clean up any pickup you skipped long after the credits.
007 First Light hides 92 collectibles across its 17 story chapters, and tracking down every one earns the A Collector’s Habit trophy and achievement on your way to 100%. They come in five types — Cards, Intel, Mementos, Postcards and Legacy Items — and only one mission, In His Majesty’s Secret Service, has none at all.
This guide is the overview: how the collectible system works, which gadgets you want equipped, and exactly how the 92 pickups split by type, with a dedicated location guide linked for each set. Best of all, nothing is permanently missable — every collectible is tied to a Checkpoint you can revisit through Chapter Select in seconds, so a rushed first run costs you nothing.
How the collectible system works

There’s no per-chapter tracker in 007 First Light. The in-game menu (press the Touchpad) only sorts collectibles by type, which is why a mission-order guide is far easier to follow than the game’s own list. Everything saves the moment you pick it up, so when you’re cleaning up through Chapter Select you can quit out the instant you grab an item, without pushing on to the next checkpoint. You can also jump straight to any Checkpoint, which makes mopping up leftovers fast.
Spotting them is easy once you know the tells. A genuine collectible shows a small gray bookmark icon next to its name, and picking it up flashes golden New Collectible text on the right of the screen. The levels are full of readable props — photos, newspapers, text files — that look collectible but don’t count, so lean on your scanner rather than grabbing everything by hand.
The 92 collectibles by type

Here’s the full breakdown, with the trophy each set unlocks and a link to its complete location guide:
- Cards — 36: a German-suited deck (Acorns, Bells, Roses, Shields) that unlocks the Casino Royale trophy. This is the largest and trickiest set, with up to five hidden in a single mission.
- Intel — 23: MI6 files that flesh out Bond’s early career and unlock For Your Eyes Only. Many stay in place after you read them, so they’re easy to walk past.
- Mementos — 14: small personal keepsakes hidden in the levels, for the Recovered Assets trophy.
- Postcards — 10: one per exotic locale, from Iceland to Antarctica, unlocking The World Is Not Enough.
- Legacy Items — 9: nods to classic Bond gear that earn A Legacy of Spycraft, the smallest set of all.
Sweep all five sets and A Collector’s Habit pops for the full 100%. It’s most efficient to grab everything in a single completion run, but if you’d rather clean up after the credits, the by-type guides above let you target one set at a time without hunting through the whole game.
Gadgets to keep equipped

Three story gadgets unlock automatically and make the hunt far smoother:
- Q-Watch (Chapter 4): your scanner. Hold L1/LB near a collectible and it highlights in yellow — use it in every room you enter.
- Dart Phone (Chapter 5): sets up distractions and pickpockets for the pieces tucked behind guards and locked doors.
- Laser Strap (Chapter 9): burns through certain locks, padlocks and glass. A handful of collectibles from Chapter 10 onward simply can’t be reached without it, so keep it equipped by default.
One catch worth remembering: loading a mission through Chapter Select re-equips a default loadout, so if you’re cleaning up a Laser Strap pickup you may need to replay from Chapter 9 onward to have the gadget on hand.
Back up your save before the last of a set

There’s a known bug where a collectible trophy occasionally fails to unlock. It’s rare, but as a precaution, back up your save before you grab the final piece of any type. If the trophy doesn’t pop, you can reload the backup, disconnect from the internet, and collect it again offline. Online unlocks can also be heavily delayed, so playing completely offline for that last pickup is the safest bet.
