Every keypad number and symbol solution, with the exact clue and reward for each locked safe and door, in the order you reach them.
007 First Light locks a handful of safes and doors behind keypad codes and one symbol puzzle, and most of them guard a collectible, a resource stash or the only route forward. Miss a clue and you can spend ages backtracking through a stealth section you have already cleared.
This guide lists every safe code and door code in the game, in the order you naturally reach them, with the exact number, where each keypad sits, the clue that solves it and the reward inside. Seven numeric codes and one symbol puzzle cover the lot, from the Carpathian Hotel through Webb’s office to the Antarctica archive. Grab the codes cold, or read the clue if you would rather solve them yourself.

Carpathian Hotel codes (All the Time in the World)
Three of these sit in the hotel during the Slovakia mission, and the Manager’s Office holds the clues for two of them.
- Manager’s Office safe — 1952: reach the Manager’s Office through the Staff Only hallway behind the reception desk (grab the Staff Key from a nearby guard if the door is locked). The code is the vintage year of the Vino Sacramental wine on display along the wall opposite the desk: 1952. The safe under the desk holds the 6 of Roses collectible and the Cellar Key, and cracking it clears the Wine Connoisseur challenge.
- Laundry Room door — 1805: while you are in the Manager’s Office, read the Security Note on top of the desk. It lists the laundry keypad code: 1805. The door opens the way to the hotel’s first proper stealth section as you tail the blond “bellhop.”
- Fireplace symbol puzzle — Lion, Snake, Goat: this keypad uses animal icons, not numbers. The clue is a Chimera pictured on the Torn Note atop the abandoned trolley and on the red-and-blue wall banners: a creature with a goat’s head, a snake’s tail and a lion’s body. At the fireplace, press Lion, Snake and Goat in any order to open it and pick the trail back up.
Museum courtyard maintenance code (Uninvited)
- Maintenance / Dining Room closet — 3256: on the ground floor of the museum courtyard, enter the Library and inspect the laptop in the small back office. An email from Director Hamilton spells out the weekly staff code, 3256. The keypad is on the Dining Room staff closet in the opposite corner, so disable or destroy the camera watching the door first, or the guards will be alerted. Inside is the 9 of Shields collectible and the Museum Courtyard keycard.
Webb’s office safe (Knightfall)
- Webb’s Office safe — 1493: this one is mandatory to progress. Isola’s note gives both the order and the source of each digit: Diploma, Painting, Game, Model. Examine the College Diploma (“first in class” = 1), the Basilisk Painting (“rendition #4” = 4), the Video Game case (“Hyperion 9” = 9) and the Architecture Model (“Site III” = 3). Read in order, that is 1493. Hit the hidden button in Webb’s desk drawer, enter the code, and the safe reveals the command code needed to reach the Perch.
Q-Lab codes (Wave of the Future)
Both Q-Lab codes are found after dark, once Q leaves and you are exploring the lab on your own.
- Stress Testing cabinet — 4397: in the Stress Testing room you get trapped after grabbing the Q-Watch. The note by the cabinet hints that “the code should always be related to the test subject itself.” Look through the glass into the blast room at the Range Rover: its license plate reads “QLAB 4397.” Enter the last four digits to open the cabinet and claim Q’s Photo collectible plus Battery and Chemical resources.
- Armory door — 1324: this door blocks your new service pistol. The code is Waters’ high score on the shooting range. Look through the glass range door at the TV showing the leaderboard; Waters’ score, 1324, is the code. Enter it to grab the service pistol.
Antarctica archive code (endgame)
- Archive safe — 1864: inside the Antarctica base, opening the Archive door reveals a vent that leads straight to the security office where you upgrade your I.D. bracelet. The code, 1864, comes from a safe on the floor below, under a desk in the office at the far end of the corridor. You need the Safe Key first: loot it from a desk at the opposite end of the same floor after distracting the guards there. Open the safe and inspect the document to read the passcode. (There is also a faster route: pickpocket the Office Key off the man listening to the briefing beside the Archive, then solve the trial-and-error puzzle note in the rightmost Locker Room locker.)
