The Game Awards 2019 ha premiado a los videojuegos más relevantes del 2019.
Entre los premios más destacados encontramos a Sekiro Shadows Die Twice levantando con orgullo el «Juego del año 2019», además de «Mejor juego de acción/aventura». Sin embargo, el más galardonado ha sido Disco Elysium con cuatro trofeos: «Mejor juego independiente», «Mejor juego independiente debut», «Mejor RPG» y «Mejor Narrativa».
A Disco Elysium le sigue Death Stranding: la esperada obra de Hideo Kojima ha recibido galardones en «Mejor actuación» para Mads Mikkelsen (como Cliff), «Mejor Dirección» y «Mejor Banda Sonora».
